The price of this visa is currently approximately €50 in Paris and €60 on the spot! Know before you go. The visa is payable in foreign currencies and cash only.
• Visa up to 90 days. This must be obtained prior to departure: in principle, the term takes into account the dates of your stay. It is issued by the embassy or consulate of Madagascar within 5 working days. For correspondence, count up to twenty days. Cost in 2009: approximately €60 in cash or check for an entry and €75 for two entries for one person in the territory.
To obtain a visa from the Consulate or Embassy of Madagascar in the country of departure, you must bring a photocopy of your return ticket (or certification of the agency with the numbers of ticket booking), two identical passport photos and the completed form which can be downloaded on the Embassy website. For an application by mail, enclose a stamped envelope by registered mail or Chronopost for the return of the passport with the visa.
